Step into my garden studio and work alongside me as I guide you on a journey to create Art with Soul.
In this beautiful online workshop, I will show you how to create stunning ceramic flowers. Using a combination of slab construction and unique textures, you will learn to create small or large ceramic flowers to either hang on your wall as flower mandalas or to decorate your garden.
I will show you how to make a range of adornments to hang from your finished works of art. I will also demonstrate a unique way of glazing the work that will enhance each piece and make your work really stand out.
Accompanying this online workshop will be a downloadable PDF which includes a comprehensive list of materials and tools. You will also receive downloadable Flower templates.
All my workshops are designed for beginners and those with some experience. I hope that you will join me for this lovely workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long is the workshop?
A: The Ceramic Flower Workshop is just over 2 hours long, spread across multiple videos in 8 different modules. However, you will likely take much longer to work through each module, from creating the work through firing and final glazing/finishing. You can stop and start at any time, and re-watch modules as often as you'd like.
Q: How long do I have access to the workshop for?
A: You can access the workshop at any time, and at any point in the future. Even if you've watched all the modules before, you can return and watch them whenever you'd like. Go at your own pace and feel free to stop/start as often as you'd like.
Q: What type of clay do I need?
A: You will need a good quality hand-building clay. Ask your ceramic supplier for their recommendations. Be sure to check the firing range and pass this on to whoever is firing your work.
Q: Will it be straightforward to access all the raw materials and tools required?
A: Everything you need should be easy to access from both your local ceramic supplier and from your own kitchen or studio.
Q: How will I know which underglazes and glazes to use?
A: A downloadable PDF is included in the workshop that covers all tools, materials, and templates you'll need.
Q: What if I can only get my work fired at a low temperature? Will I be able to create the work advertised?
A: The workshop is designed to accommodate either low-fired (earthenware), mid-fired, or stoneware clays. The results may differ, but all the raw materials, including the glazes, have a broad firing range.
Jena will be available throughout the workshop if you have feedback or questions - just send her a message or email her directly at [email protected]
